Maughold Village supports the Parish Walk
We would like to say a big thank you to Lara Barnes who recently cheered on the walkers during the Parish walk and organised a BBQ in Maughold Village. This annual support is very welcome by the support crews and walkers alike when the night is approaching and hunger strikes in.
This year Lara and her team of helpers raised money for Manx Cancer Help and Parent2Parent to highlight in particular for mental health awareness in youngsters.
We have provided 23 youngsters, support through difficult times this year alone and we expect this trend to carry on. It is important to remember that we are able to help Isle of Man residents with professional accredited therapy from dedicated therapists, thanks to fundraisers like this and support we receive from other charities such as Oskar's Dreams/Remember Jade.
We are very grateful to anyone who takes the time to fund-raise and the support shown through this community event is something that makes us very proud.
Thank you Lara, Parent2Parent are an amazing charity who also help families with support at difficult times and work closely with us here at The Lisa Lowe Centre.
